秋の絵を計画しています。

秋の絵を描くことを計画しています。 季節に応じた主題を描きたいです。 それで、午後は写真を勉強して過ごしました。 長い年月にわたって多くの写真を撮りました。 他の写真は 「Wetcanvas」という美術のウェブサイトを参照しました。 これまで二つの写真から絵を描きましたが、まだどの写真か決めていません。 墓地の写真は深い象徴的意味を持っていることを感じます。 それについて考えれば 考えるほど、ますます私の心に響きます。 「私を深く感動させた。」  しかし、古い水車小屋が私の町の近くにあります。  それは史跡と、おなじみのランドマークです。 時間があれば、二枚とも絵を描きます。

I'm planning an autumn painting. I want to paint subject matter according to the seasons. So, I spent the afternoon studying photos. I took many of the photos over the years. Other photos are references from an art website called "Wetcanvas". http://www.wetcanvas.com/

So far, I sketched pictures from two photos, but I haven't decided which photo yet. I feel that the cemetery photo possesses deep symbolism. The more I think about it, the more it resonates with me. However, the old mill is near my town. It is an historic site and familiar landmark. If I have time, I will paint both pictures.

テネシーの 中世の祭

今年の５月に、中世をテーマにしたお祭に行きました。 ライブパフォーマンスや、生演奏、食べ物の屋台、工芸品の展示がありました。 すべての興行は喜劇の要素があります。 馬上槍試合を見て楽しみました。 この祭りは３週間続いたので、来場者は週末も参加できました。 来年、また行くのを楽しみにしています！ Feckless Fear Dearg の演奏の一部です。>  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7V8msSHduok

Back in May of this year, I went to a medieval fair. There were live performances,　music, food, and crafts. All the shows had elements of comedy. I enjoyed watching the jousting tournament. Since the fair lasted 3 weekends, visitors can choose a weekend to attend. I'm looking forward to next year!

私の翼を回収しています。

昨年、10年ぶりに絵を描き始めました。 私の問題は、心の状態がよくないことです。 ずっと憂鬱と戦っています。  変化がほしいです。 私には東京に住んでいる友達がいます。 私たちは4年前にオンラインで出会いました。  彼はおもちゃのデザイナーです。 彼はいつも芸術や外国語で私に刺激を与えてくれ舞します。

昨年、牧場鳥を描きました。 邦夫さんは 私の絵に英語のメッセージを添えてくれました。 "When I see this bird, I feel like I'm looking at you. Where do you wanna fly next?"  「私はこの鳥を見ると、あなたを見ている気がします。  次にどこに飛び立ちますか？ 友達のお陰で徐々に私の翼は回復しています。 あなたの優しさに感謝します。

Last year, I started painting again after 10 year absence. My problem is my state of mind is not good. For a long time, I have been fighting depression. Still, I desire a change. I have a friend who lives in Tokyo. We met online 4 years ago. He is a toy designer. He always inspires me in the arts and foreign language.

last year, I painted a meadowlark. Kunio-san added a message in English to my painting. "When I see this bird, I feel like I'm looking at you. Where do you wanna fly next?" Thanks to my friend, I'm slowly recovering my wings. Thank you for your kindness!

お久ぶりですね！
Lang-8に戻りたいです。 また勉強してもいい頃ですね。
しばしば仕事や暮らしに疲れを感じます。
あきらめませんでした。
それでも、日本語と英語で短いコメントを書くためにフェイスブックを使っています。
Lang-8で、また本当に英語や話し言葉の手助けをすることを楽しみにしています！

Long time, no see!
I want to return to lang-8. It's about time I study again.
I often feel tired from work and life's circumstances.
I haven't given up.
Still, I use Facebook to write short comments in Japanese and English.
I'm really looking forward to helping with English and colloquial expressions at Lang-8, too!

メキシコへの旅

ティーンエイジャーのとき、母と フロリダから カリフォルニアまで 旅行をしました。車で4日間ぐらいかかりました。私たちはリバーサイドというまちでいとこの家に滞在しました。いとこは彼と一緒にメキシコに行くために私たちに聞きました。彼と別のいとこは、太平洋でスピアフィッシングをしたいのでした。

2日間 La Bufadoraという町の近くでキャンプをしました。日中は暑くて夜は寒かった。水道の配管や電気がありませんでした。そこで、私たちは、水を持ってきて、地元の人から薪を買いました。水はとても冷たかった。空気ボンベを使うように訓練してないので、私はシュノーケルを使いました。フロリダの暖かく、澄んだ水に慣れています。しかし、太平洋で暗くて怖いです！海岸を越えて、6メートルの深さに到達することができますが、海底を見ることができませんでした！私は緊張していたので、海の表面近くの昆布のベッドで泳ぐことにしました。いとこは多くの魚を捕まえました。

翌日、私たちは La Bufadoraを探検し、魚のタコスを食べました。魚のタコスは、トルティーヤと魚そして野菜などが入っています。それは珍しかったですが、美味しかったです！私たちは魚を持って帰って、パーティーためにクレオールのスタイルでそれらを焼きました。

When I was a teenager, my mother and I went on a trip from Florida to California. It took about four days by car. We stayed at my cousin's home in a city called Riverside. My cousin asked us to go with him to Mexico. He and another cousin wanted to go spear fishing in the Pacific.

We camped for 2 days near a town called La Bufadora. The landscape around us was desert. During the day, it was hot and by evening, it was cold. There was no plumbing or electricity. So, we brought our own water and bought firewood from the locals. The water in the Pacific was extremely cold. I wore a wetsuit to stay warm. I haven't been trained to use scuba tanks, so I used a snorkel. I am accustomed to warm, clear water in Florida. However, it is dark and scary in the Pacific! Beyond the shore, I could reach a depth of six meters, but I couldn't see the ocean floor! Because I was a little nervous, I decided to swim in a kelp bed near the surface. My cousins caught a lot of fish.

The next day, we explored the town of La Bufadora and ate fish tacos. Fish tacos had a tortilla, fish, and vegetables. It was unusual, but delicious! We brought a lot of fish home and my cousin grilled them Creole style for a cook-out.

友達のポートレートを描くことが好きです！

福田邦夫さんは素敵な友達です。彼は東京に住んでいる、おもちゃのデザイナーです。彼は私に日本語の面白さを 紹介してくれました。私たちはスカイプで 生活や美術や言語についてよく話しています。彼は、また絵を描くように私を励ましてくれています。それで、私はポートレートを 描いて送ることにしました。絵を書くときに、参考としてパソコンを使っています。しばらく絵を描いていなかったからです。今の私にとっては、とても難しいことです！私は目を 描くことが好きです。目は心の窓であると思います。それに幸せを見ています。今、明るい色調を創造するために暗い色調を加えています。

Kunio Fukuda-san is a great friend. He is a designer of toys and lives in Tokyo. He introduced Japanese to me. We talk a lot about language, art, and life on Skype. He has inspired me to create again. I'm using the computer as a reference. I haven't drawn pictures in a long time. For me, it is very difficult now! I always like to draw eyes. I think the eyes are windows to one's heart. I see happiness in them. Now, I'm are adding dark tones to create bright tones.

子どものラクーン

最近、子どものラクーンが家に現れました！母親がいないので、彼らに食べ物を与えました。 私は彼らに猫の餌を与えました。 10分ほどで食べてしまいました。それから、帰っていき。これで大丈夫です。 ラクーンはおとなしいと思います。

Recently, young raccoons appeared at my home! There wasn't a mother, so I gave them some food. I fed them cat food. They ate for about 10 minutes. After that, they left.　It will be fine. I think raccoons are good survivors.
