水車小屋の絵画の第三段階です。

水車小屋の壁を描き始めました。 出来栄えが好きではなかったので、油絵の具の層をこすり落としました。 余分なキャンバスで技法と新しい色を練習します。 最良の技法と色を見つけたとき、壁をあらためて描きます。 それは試行錯誤の繰り返しですね。 良い絵には、主題というものがあります。 私は、主題に少し開いたドアを描きました。 水車を描きました。。。わるくないと思います。

I started painting the walls of the mill. I did not like the result, so I scrubbed out the oil paint layer. I will practice techniques and new colors on a spare canvas. When I find the best technique and color, I will paint the walls over again. It is a process of trial and error. A good painting needs a subject (area of interest / focal point). I painted the door partially open for the subject. I painted the water wheel....it's not so bad I think!

今、薄い色の層を描いています。 この段階では、細部への描き込みはそれほど重要ではありません。、そこで、私は同じ色の全体に注意を払っています。 バーントシェンナとカドミウムレッド、とカドミウムイエローとバーントアンバーを使って木を描きました。 スレートグレーの色合いを出すために、色を混ぜる実験をしました。 紫を作るために、カドミウムレッドとフレンチマリンブルーを使いました。 それから カドミウムイエローを加えました。 別の灰色で石柱と水車小屋の下の部分を描きました。

Now, I'm painting a thin layer of color. Details are not important, so I focus on large areas of the same color. I painted the trees with Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, and Burnt Umber. I experimented by mixing colors to achieve a slate gray color. I used cadmium red and french Ultramarine blue to make a purple. Then, I added cadmium yellow. I painted the stone support and the water mill base with the new gray.

筆で薄い絵の具で地塗りをしいています。 イエローオーカーとフレンチマリンブルーを使っています。 絵は、完成までに3時間かかりました。 ここまでに、だいぶ修正しました。 良い下絵を完成することが大事です。  色を使う段階になったら、下絵は適していなければなりません。

I drew the underpainting with a brush and thin oil paint. I'm using Yellow Ochre and French Ultramarine Blue. It took about 3 hours to complete the drawing. During the process, many corrections were made. It is important to complete a good drawing. When I'm ready to use color, the drawing must be acceptable.

画材を買いにいきましょう。。。

Aすごい壁画ですね！ 右側にある車は私のトラックです。

二週間前に"Jerry's Artarama"という美術店に行きました。 キャンバスを買いに行きました。 2,228.1円くらいでした。 土曜日はJerry'sに戻りました。 他のセール品がありました！ 油絵の具を２つと、水溶性の黒鉛の鉛筆セットを買いました。  ぜんぶで、日本円で、1569.84円くらいでした。 今、少し文無しです。

The week before last, I went to an art supply store called, "Jerry's Artarama". I went shopping for canvas and the outing was a success. It was $21.48, about 2228.1 yen. Saturday, I went back to Jerry's. There was another sale! I bought 2 oil paints and a water soluble graphite pencil set. Altogether, it was $15.25, about 1569.84 yen. Now, I'm a little broke.

秋の絵を計画しています。

秋の絵を描くことを計画しています。 季節に応じた主題を描きたいです。 それで、午後は写真を勉強して過ごしました。 長い年月にわたって多くの写真を撮りました。 他の写真は 「Wetcanvas」という美術のウェブサイトを参照しました。 これまで二つの写真から絵を描きましたが、まだどの写真か決めていません。 墓地の写真は深い象徴的意味を持っていることを感じます。 それについて考えれば 考えるほど、ますます私の心に響きます。 「私を深く感動させた。」  しかし、古い水車小屋が私の町の近くにあります。  それは史跡と、おなじみのランドマークです。 時間があれば、二枚とも絵を描きます。

I'm planning an autumn painting. I want to paint subject matter according to the seasons. So, I spent the afternoon studying photos. I took many of the photos over the years. Other photos are references from an art website called "Wetcanvas". http://www.wetcanvas.com/

So far, I sketched pictures from two photos, but I haven't decided which photo yet. I feel that the cemetery photo possesses deep symbolism. The more I think about it, the more it resonates with me. However, the old mill is near my town. It is an historic site and familiar landmark. If I have time, I will paint both pictures.

テネシーの 中世の祭

今年の５月に、中世をテーマにしたお祭に行きました。 ライブパフォーマンスや、生演奏、食べ物の屋台、工芸品の展示がありました。 すべての興行は喜劇の要素があります。 馬上槍試合を見て楽しみました。 この祭りは３週間続いたので、来場者は週末も参加できました。 来年、また行くのを楽しみにしています！ Feckless Fear Dearg の演奏の一部です。>  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7V8msSHduok

Back in May of this year, I went to a medieval fair. There were live performances,　music, food, and crafts. All the shows had elements of comedy. I enjoyed watching the jousting tournament. Since the fair lasted 3 weekends, visitors can choose a weekend to attend. I'm looking forward to next year!

私の翼を回収しています。

昨年、10年ぶりに絵を描き始めました。 私の問題は、心の状態がよくないことです。 ずっと憂鬱と戦っています。  変化がほしいです。 私には東京に住んでいる友達がいます。 私たちは4年前にオンラインで出会いました。  彼はおもちゃのデザイナーです。 彼はいつも芸術や外国語で私に刺激を与えてくれ舞します。

昨年、牧場鳥を描きました。 邦夫さんは 私の絵に英語のメッセージを添えてくれました。 "When I see this bird, I feel like I'm looking at you. Where do you wanna fly next?"  「私はこの鳥を見ると、あなたを見ている気がします。  次にどこに飛び立ちますか？ 友達のお陰で徐々に私の翼は回復しています。 あなたの優しさに感謝します。

Last year, I started painting again after 10 year absence. My problem is my state of mind is not good. For a long time, I have been fighting depression. Still, I desire a change. I have a friend who lives in Tokyo. We met online 4 years ago. He is a toy designer. He always inspires me in the arts and foreign language.

last year, I painted a meadowlark. Kunio-san added a message in English to my painting. "When I see this bird, I feel like I'm looking at you. Where do you wanna fly next?" Thanks to my friend, I'm slowly recovering my wings. Thank you for your kindness!
